Easter Fun!

Aliyah had a good time collecting Easter eggs that were hidden around Memere's house! She had a good Easter--she got a new princess dress with all the accessories! She wore it all day, even wanted to sleep in it! :)

Cooking

Aliyah likes to cook and help mom with dinner...although she thinks that everything she is cooking is muffins!

Princess

Aliyah loves to dress up like a princes.. She will dance around the house with her arms out like she's floating, then she will do a princess bow...it's hysterical! She is a true princess!

snow!

So, Aliyah loves to play in the snow.....she loves to fall down, roll around, get back up and say, "There's my head" about the impression that she made. Spencer loves to come outside and play with us too, he always tries to chase her and she falls and thinks it's hilarious!

Princess Castle

Aliyah got a new princess castle from Memere. I put it together and she was so excited. She got her princess blanket and princess pillow and she laid in there with the kitties and watched movies. She loved it so much she wanted to sleep in there. Of course I let her and she was just so happy. While I was putting it together she kept telling me to blow it up...i tried to explain to her that you don't blow it up, but she was persistant. She's too cute!!!!!! :) As you can see in the first picture, she is wearing her new princess underwear...we are going to try and become potty trained this week, since we are on vacation. the first day we had just a few accidents (4!), but 2 successes, so we were excited. :)

Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas--it was fun watching Aliyah open her gifts this year, because she was so excited about all of them. She would open something and her face was in shock and she would say, "WOW! It's so beautiful" no matter what the gift was...we had fun with her ....putting together her toys was difficult. Shawn and I spent about an hour and a half putting her desk together on Christmas eve...if only Santa could bring presents put together already!!! :) Shawn had a good Christmas too...I bought him an MP3 player and he spent the whole next day downloading music....we are both on vacation this week, it's so nice!!

Memere, Malcolm, Aliyah

my mom, malcolm and aliyah at the tree lighting ceremony in augusta. we had fun....malcolm actually sat on santa's lap. I asked aliyah if she wanted to and she looked at me with fear in her eyes and said, NO THANK YOU MOM! i had to laugh, but felt bad that she was so scared.
